Transgender Jenna Talackova Crowned Miss Universe

Of course, the title of my entry is misleading and an exaggeration! I mean it's totally misleading because there's no official result for Miss Universe 2012 yet but not really an exaggeration because there's a possibility that she might bag the title this year because some reliable sources claimed that she "outshined" other contestants in the competition. Anyway, if I recall it right, Jenna went into a very controversial debate before she made into this competition. She was born in Vancouver, Canada and was a man until she underwent sex-change surgery four years ago. Due to more than 20,000 people signed a virtual petition on Change.org Jenna was granted to join to the pageant.

The Miss Universe 2012 panel includes designers Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan of HGTV's Home Heist, The Kennedys actress Kristin Booth and singer Kreesha Turner.
