Emithia's Porch by Chef Joao Is Now Serving Baguio City

We were looking for a new place where we can eat when Coach Josie told us that we can drop by Porch at Camp 7 here in Baguio City. I haven't visited this place yet so I felt good when everyone agreed to check it. From our work place, it took us approximately ten minutes to reach Emithia's Porch by Chef Joao. Located before the Camp 7 Satelite Market, Emithia's Porch by Chef Joao opened February of this year.

The Place

The place is colorful and, although it's small compared to other food establishments, Emithia's Porch by Chef Joao offers a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The place is also very accessible to travelers because it's located along Kennon Road. Emithia's Porch by Chef Joao  is also a wifi-zone area.

The Food and The Price

Emithia's Porch by Chef Joao has definitely a lot to offer plus they've got reasonable prices. Check what we've got:

My pick during our first visit: Fried Chicken Sampler  (Php230.00)- three flavors in one plate served with chips or rice and mixed veggies. I've tired Piri-piri (spicy chicken), Barbecue and Original flavors. Fried Chicken Sample is highly recommended. Fact is, I recommended this to Jessica during our second visit. 

My pick during our second visit: Prime Beef T-bone (I prefer well-done) - grilled to perfection served with rice or freshly cut fries and mixed vegetables. Costs Php230.00. I highly recommend that you try this. 

Pork Belly BBQ: melts-in-the- mouth pork belly coated in a moderately sweet but extremely tangy, Chef Joao's BBQ sauce, served with rice and mixed veggies. I'd love to try this but, unfortunately, I stopped eating Pork. Costs Php190.00.

Beef Emerenciana - tender beef stewed in flavorful creamy sauce served with rice and mixed veggies. Costs Php190.00.

Porch Strawberry Iced Tea. CostsPhp60.00.

Imported Sodas at Php60.00 each. 

For dessert. Costs Php120.00. 

The Customer Service

Emithia's Porch by Chef Joao staff is very accommodating and nice. During our first visit, we were definitely entertained well and our food were served just on time. In our second visit, they were also nice, even the sister of the owner was also very hospitable. They were always smiling and they've even very much willing to take photo. They were polite and courteous.

How to go to Emithia's Porch by Chef Joao 

From Baguio City Proper, you may ride a Camp 7-bound jeepney or you may ride a cab. They are located at 308 Camp 7, Kennon Road Baguio City.

Emithia's Porch by Chef Joao is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 5:30 pm to 8:30 PM. They are open from 9am to 2 pm and 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Sundays.
