As promised in my blog entry yesterday, I will be posting some of the additional and selected photos taken during our Mount Santo Tomas, Mount Cabuyao escapade. And thanked God, Patty already uploaded the photos! Big thanks to her "awesome" Canon DSLR!
Photo-shoot on our way up, up, up high! Yours truly with my fellow Quality Analysts Amos, David, Ces, Theresa and Erl. Ours was a great escapade - truly memorable and worth blogging for! Mount Cabuyao is 2025 meters above sea level. It has a two renowned discs called "radar" by the locals.
We rock because we're on a big rock more than 2000 meters above sea level! This is one my favorite photos! Included in this photo are my fellow QAs...I mean "climbers"... Erl, David and Amos. We look "asteegh" here! Hahaha!
This way to Mount Santo Tomas Pilgrimage site - Kabuyao, Tuba, Benguet! On top of Mount Sto. Tomas you will see the Stations of the Cross.
Walk! Climb! Walk! Climb! Walk! Climb! It's tiring but definitely awesome! Me with Amos, Ces, David, Theresa and Erl. Not included in the photo: Patty. "There are only 3 real sports: bull-fighting, car racing and mountain climbing. All the others are mere games." - Hemingway
Presenting "awesome climbers!" From left to right: David, Erl, Amos, Ces, Theresa and Yours Truly. It's awesome to be "on top of a mountain" - more than 2000 meters above sea level! We "already!" Hahaha!
Who wants a deck? On our way to the view deck! Ces ended up as our "tour guide" because she speaks Ilokano far way better than us. We look "amazing" in this photo!
All hands on deck! With my fellow "climbers" at the view deck more than 2000 meters above sea level! From left to right: Theresa, Yours Truly, David, Ces and Amos! The view behind us is indubitably fantastic!
One...two...three...jump! Jumpshot at the view deck! From left to right: David, Yours Truly, Ces, Theresa and Amos. And the "Best in Jumpshot Award" goes to...Ces!
On our way to the "water basin." The basin is operated by Baguio Water District and it " can store 500,000 cu. m of water that can supply the city’s southwest communities during the rainy season" according to Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Time to "climb down!" In this photo: Amos, Ces, Erl, Theresa, Yours Truly and David! the "climb" was great! It's memorable and, like I always say, worth blogging for! Thanks to Patty, Erl, David, Ces, Amos and Theresa!
