The Day We Ate At Halohalo de Iloko

It was past five in the afternoon when we left Normi's Beachfront Resort, and because we're starving and tired, we decided to check Halohalo de Iloko in San Fernando City. I've never been in the place before so if Nefreena did not insist that we go and visit the place, then, I had probably missed one of best "foodperiences" one could ever have. Go and check the place and you'll know why!

If you want affordable but "yummy" food, and excellent customer service, I strongly recommend Halohalo de Iloko. It is located at #12 Zandueta Street, San Fernando City, La Union. It is open daily from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. For more details, visit its Facebook page.

It's time to decide which to eat! My team mates have chosen Family-sized Palabokano for only Php799.00. Because I don't eat pork anymore, I've decided to eat Chicken Curry with free Pandan Juice for only Php99.00.

Finally, it's me with my former team mate and Loss Management Specialist Priscilla Yag-as! Behind us our container glasses from the ancient times. And guess what? There's fish in one of those bottles! Fantastic!

My choice: Chicken Curry (which tastes a lot better that Thailand Chicken Curry served in one of the Asian Restaurants in Baguio City0, Pandan Juice (free) and Fiesta Halo-halo for Php 99.00.

Giant ube! If I heard it correctly, this is what they call San Gabriel ube. Correct me if i'm wrong. By the way, this is just one of the "displays" inside Halohalo de Iloko that will definitely make you closer to nature while eating!
