Our "Half Cup" Invasion in La Trinidad, Benguet

The distinctive aroma of Pesto Chicken being cooked while we were patiently waiting stimulated my intense desire for "something pesto." I haven't eaten Pesto for the longest time, and Half Cup's Pesto Chicken was just simply irresistible. After ten minutes, our Pesto Chicken was served and we were ready for another "gastronomic adventure." Sure, that was fast! "Excellent!" I said to myself.

The Food
One of the best things about eating in a new place for the first time is when you leave it with a "happy tummy." This is exactly what Half Cup offered us. Since it was our first time, we tried their best-sellers (Check out my full interview with Hal Cup by clicking here). Theresa and I tried Pesto Chicken Pasta while Leah tried Spicy Shrimp Pasta. On top of these, we also tried Molten Chocolate Cupcake with Vanilla Ice Cream and Cheesy Beef. Cheesy Beef is definitely as must-try if you will visit Half Cup.

Pesto Chicken Pasta is one of Half Cup's best sellers. This dish makes use of Penne pasta with basil pesto and grilled chicken. This is definitely perfect for all pesto-lovers out there. 

Cheesy Beef.  Also a must-try at Half Cup. I definitely enjoyed eating this. 

Spicy Shrimp Pasta is another best seller at Half Cup. 

The Customer Service
Our stay at Half Cup wouldn't be satisfactory if not because of great customer service. Shel and her sister were very friendly and accommodating. Big thanks for their warm welcome!

The Place
Located at the third floor of Tokiko Building in La Trinidad, Benguet, Half Cup is definitely good for a coffee or tea break. It's a perfect place for "merienda" as well as friends and family get-together.Although relatively small compared to other establishments, I'm pretty sure you'll have a great stay at Half Cup.
