One Cold Afternoon at Latreia Bookshop Cafe

Hot coffee is definitely tempting especially if the weather is like this - a cold, rainy one. It's something that you cannot resist no matter how hard you try to control yourself.

Latreia Bookshop Cafe is located at the 3rd floor of Ecco Building in Generel Luna, Baguio City.
I was craving for coffee earlier when I accidentally passed by Latreia Bookshop Cafe at Ecco Building at General Luna. Although my budget told me "Do not go there. You're broke" I still managed to drop by the place even for a few minutes. I haven't heard about the place so I thought of checking it. So far, I enjoyed the place, especially because I love books, and the Cappuccino and Chocolate Waffles that I got tasted fine. Thing is I was expecting a "bigger waffle."

Here are the top 10 best sellers at Latreia Bookshop Cafe:
  • Wintermelon Milk Tea
  • Melon Smoothie
  • Mango Smoothie
  • Okinawa Milk Tea
  • Caramel Milk Tea
  • Banana Smoothie
  • Assam Milk Tea
  • Coffe Americano
  • Hazel Nut Frappe
  • Vanilla Frappe
According to my Wikipedia, Latrīa is a Latin term (from the Greek λατρεία, latreia) used in Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic theology to mean adoration, a reverence directed only to the Holy Trinity. Latria carries an emphasis on the internal form of worship, rather than external ceremonies. Which is no wonder why books available at the bookshop are about adoration and the like. Books such as The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer and Transforming Grace by Jerry Bridges (Php200.00) are available at the cafe.
