Romanelle Oriental, Fun Run Registration and Other Matters

Right after I registered for the Takbo Para sa Kalikasan 2013, a run for a cause organized by Magdarangan Class of 2003 of the Philippine Military Academy, I went right away to Tiongsan Harrison to buy shoes. Because I don't have time, aside from the fact that I'm not "choosy," I immediately told the saleslady that I'm going to get the shoes that I first "touched." Surprisingly, the lady was "surprised" and she asked me, "Are you sure, sir? That was fast." I told her "yes" (with conviction...lol) but she doesn't know that I'm a bit "puzzled." Why in world would she bother asking if "I'm sure" when getting a customer is supposedly her top priority? I wonder how will she react if I told her, "No, I'm not sure." Anyway, there is really nothing significant about this. Prolly, I'm just "overreacting." Lol!

Mario D' boro is comfy and "stylistic" but affordable. Life taught me that I don't need to spend PHP3000+ for shoes.
Theresa and I are all set for the PMA-organized fun run slated next week, and this is going to be our first "run" for 2013. The run dubbed Takbo: Sagipin ang Kalikasan is conceptualized by PMA Mandarangan Class of 2003 and it aims to promote environmental awareness. Other chunk of the proceeeds will be donated to PMA cadets as a "gratitude to the Academy for training them into becoming military officers." The run also aims to help LT Frederick Emil "Tappy" Tapawan, who has been battling with tonsillar cancer for more than two years now. Registration for the run is still ongoing and the deadline is on January 18, 2013. For additional and further details about the event, kindly click here.
