If my calculation is correct, there were more than 2000 participants in the recently concluded “Takbo: Sagipin ang Kalikasan” fun run, and our division (5K division) had the most number of participants. The event was organized by the Philippine Military Academy Mandarangan Class of 2003 in cooperation with 95.1 Love Radio, Nestle Philippines and Takbo.ph to name a few.
As usual, I was with my fellow QAs. Leah didn’t join due to conflicting schedule but good thing Theresa and Ace (he conquered 21K) did. I also spotted some of our workmates from other departments: Sally from the Learning Team, Carl and Vic from Workforce and Elsa from Operations. The run was fun and, like what I always say, it’s worth blogging for. By the way, Nelson and Patty also joined but they didn’t run: they took photos at the event. Thanks to their “mighty” SLRs!
Photoshoot before the start of the run. Photo taken around 4:00am local. I'm with Ace and Vic from Workforce team. Vic and Ace joined 21K division.
Wazzup? Wazzup? With my fellow QAs Nelson and Theresa! It's fun to be with them! Thanks Theresa for the photo!
The other runners from our workplace! We also spotted them! L-R: Sally from the Learning Team, Theresa from the Quality Assurance Team, Elsa from Operation and Carl from Workforce!
After the run, we went to a place called "Hongkong Street" and we had our breakfast there! That was truly a very "memorable moment." Special thanks to Theresa and Nelson for the photos. You guys rock!!!
"Black and white" is beautiful. I'm with Ace, Theresa and Coach Elsa after the fun run! |
Jump high! At Melvin Jones ground here in Baguio City after the fun run! Thanks Nelson for the photo! Special thanks to Nestle Philippines for the free juice after the event! More power! |
